Advanced Institute 2024

Teacher Consultants, join us for three days of exploring the science of reading through the lens of a Writing Project Teacher Consultant. Our facilitator, Jenny Smithson, will lead us as we dive into the book Artfully Teaching the Science of Reading by Chase Young, David Paige, and Timothy V. Rasinski. This text provides a research-backed approach to bridging the science of reading with artful and creative methods of teaching literacy. Although the book is aimed at elementary teachers, it is applicable to teachers at all grade levels. Learn more>>

Creative Writing Camp

At the summer Creative Writing Camp, students:

  • improve their writing skills,

  • meet new friends,

  • become published authors, and

  • celebrate their writing with friends and family!
